Non-Human Persons – futuristic sound with hints of techno. Electronic duo consisting of
Lee and Mito.
N-HP has an exceptional vision – intimate, yet expansive and sparkling. One can hear motoric beats and geometric arpeggios, it creates a futuristic/psychedelic wave embedded in deep beats. Over synth waves and machine drum beats hovers Lee voice telling electrifying stories. In love with analog sound – the duo does not use computers, samples or any pre-arranged tracks, favouring synthesisers and analog drum machines as their stage gear. Improvisation is a vital addition to their live gigs.
Many releases and live gigs worldwide followed, under various project names like Fuka Lata, The Last Kiss or LeeDVD – the way to “Non-Human Persons’’. That name was inspired by that idea of great ape personhood and nonhuman.
