John Grant – Glacier

In the song “Glacier,” featuring footage from various moments in LGBT history, which is rooted in the artist’s struggles of coming out as a gay man, Grant sings about the ache of being a social outcast: “They say you are sick / That you should hang your head in shame / They are pointing fingers / And want you to take the blame.”

The gay musician revealed he is HIV-positive at a concert in 2012, and the latest music video for his haunting new single, “Glacier,” reflects both the artist’s courage and talent.
